The seed library catalog contains a wide variety of herb, vegetable and flower seeds to choose from.
The Seed Library is now opened at the Riverhead Free Library and cardholders may request up to three varieties of seeds each week per household throughout the growing season. In case of rain, they will perform in the school auditorium. Bring your lawn chair or a blanket and enjoy an evening delightful robust music. This is their final season performance with an exciting program featuring popular show tunes, classical and so much more. Auxiliary member Barbara Wooten made a beautiful certificate honoring Patricia Bilski and painted pink roses as an extra personal touch of our love on the certificate. She was not present but will receive a certificate of appreciation and recognition for her years of service through the mail. On Wednesday, June 8 Riverhead Fire Department Auxiliary President Kelli Naugles acknowledged Patricia Bilski for 60 years as a member of the auxiliary. Way to go Philip! Your family is very proud of your accomplishments. He was president of the National Honor Society and is an an Eagle Scout. Philip was a 2018 McGann Mercy High School graduate, a member of the last class to graduate from the school. Congratulations on your honors degree with a 3.9 graduate average and a gold tassel added to your cap and gown at graduation. His parents, Regina and Phil Kenter who are very proud of their son. Philip will be going on for his master’s degree in taxation and finance. in May with a cum laude with a bachelor of science degree in finance. Philip Francis Kenter of Riverhead recently graduated from American University in Washington, D.C. Needless to say, grandparents June and Pete Cybulski and Meigan and Chuck Rocco are delighted with the new addition to the family. Big brother James, who will be turning 2 on June 25 is beyond excited for his little brother to arrive and loves him so much that he stays by his side truly being the big brother. Congratulations to Peter and Brittany Cybulski on the birth of their son Owen Charles who was born on May 16, weighing 8 pounds 7 ounces.
